Terms of service

These terms apply to your use of travellingmerchants.com and to every order placed with The Travelling Merchants, a small business based in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to them.

Who can order

You must be the age of majority in your province or territory, or have the permission of a parent or guardian. We currently sell and ship within Canada only.

Products and condition

We sell individual, ungraded trading cards. Most are near mint or close to near mint. They are not professionally graded, so condition can vary slightly between copies and we do not promise a specific grade. Product photos show the card design and are not photos of the exact copy you will receive. Only cards we have in hand are offered for sale.

Prices

All prices are in Canadian dollars. Prices follow the card market and can change every day. The price shown at checkout when you pay is the price of your order. We do not adjust or refund an order because the market price changed afterwards. Market values shown on the site are estimates for reference only.

Orders

An order is accepted when we ship it or hand it over at pickup. We may limit quantities, or cancel and fully refund an order, for reasons including a card being out of stock, an obvious pricing error, or suspected fraud.

Payment

Payment is taken through our checkout provider, Shopify, at the time you order. We never see or store your full card details.

Shipping and returns

Shipping is covered by our shipping policy. Refunds are covered by our refund policy. Both form part of these terms.

Trademarks

The Travelling Merchants is an independent shop. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Riot Games. Riftbound, League of Legends and related names, card images and artwork are trademarks and copyrights of Riot Games, Inc.

Use of the site

Please do not misuse the site, interfere with how it works, or copy its content for commercial use without our permission.

Liability

The site and its content are provided as is. To the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim related to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be waived.

Privacy

Our privacy policy explains how we handle your personal information.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Alberta and the laws of Canada that apply there.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The version posted on this page when you place your order is the one that applies to it.
